You know that accepting the invitation to the VisCom blog was same thing as creating an account to your own blog. It just means that you are a member og this blog. To create your own blog you have to click 'create new blog' on the dashboard page. then you choose your own address to your blog http://something.blogspot.com in the settings,then publishing tabs. Save the new settings, then republish your blog and view blog when finished. The URL address showing in you address to your blog. Hope that helps Ayumi.
